The best bits of 2017 for the Hit Refresh team
It’s been a busy year at Hit Refresh HQ – we’ve completed several beautiful websites, shot brand videos for two of our clients, and we’ve supported the biggest event in Worthing. 2018 is looking bright already, but we’re going to take a few minutes to look back at our 2017 highlights…
Web design for The Lamb at Angmering
Being approached by one of the best gastropubs in Sussex for a website, social media management and content marketing was a highlight in itself, but the completion of the site was a particularly proud moment. With a rich history, mouth-watering menu and beautiful rooms to stay in, there was plenty to talk about when it came to copy. The whole project was a labour of love for the team, who have captured the atmosphere of the inn and the ethos of the team perfectly – even if we do say so ourselves! See the finished website here.
We were thrilled to sponsor Tide of Light, Worthing’s famous firework festival and lantern parade, in our own Hit Refresh style; by building a website and managing their social media! The event itself saw it’s highest turnout ever, and we were more than happy with the stats that came back from all our hard work; the website (built from scratch within a week) was visited by over 4,000 people in the last few days, plus the scores of social media posts reached over 50,000 people in the weeks leading up to the event. See the finished website here.
Brand videos for The Corner House and The Beach House
Using our handy in-house videography skills, we were able to take the websites we’ve build and continue to manage for The Corner House and The Beach House. We know exactly how to present a business in a way words and still images just can’t, so an impressive new video for each website has added that extra dimension to the marketing of these businesses. We’ve even incorporated the videos into the website sliders, so they’re the first thing you see when you visit the home pages. The Corner House video can be seen here, and The Beach House video can be seen here.
Web design for Ham Manor Golf Club
Ham Manor’s old website was functional, but lacked the wow factor you get when you see the course in the flesh, so we were excited to get our teeth into designing a brand new site for them. The new design separated the golf element of the site from the function facilities and, with the help of high quality photos, we were able to create clever layouts to include all the content across many pages. See the finished website here.
Perhaps the proudest personal moment for us this year – we were nominated for Small Business of the Year, and we were ranked amongst some pretty impressive Worthing businesses! 2017 wasn’t our year as far as winning was concerned, but we were over the moon just to be recognised with a nomination, and we certainly enjoyed attending the ceremony.
